Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Code Garden services at code-garden.de.

1. Provider

Justus Gotthardt & Lukas Gogol GbR, operated by Justus Gotthardt & Lukas Gogol.

"Code Garden" is a product and brand name operated by Justus Gotthardt & Lukas Gogol GbR.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity on your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Service Scope

Code Garden provides coding-learning features, including task generation, progress tracking, and optional premium subscription features.

3a. AI Processing Notice

Some features use AI services provided by OpenAI. By using these features, you understand that relevant content you submit for AI functionality may be processed by OpenAI on our behalf to generate responses and operate the service.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid features are billed through Stripe. Subscription terms (price, billing period, trial, and cancellation) are shown during checkout. You can manage or cancel subscription status in your account billing portal.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not abuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with operations, or use the platform for unlawful activity.

6. Availability and Changes

We may update, improve, or discontinue features where reasonable. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

7. Liability

Liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for serious violations of these terms or legal requirements.
